Hormone Wellness Program

Hormone balance is a key component of health, wellbeing, and longevity. However, as part of the natural process of aging, hormones fluctuate, and ultimately, decline. For women, the years approaching menopause (termed perimenopause) can be especially problematic, as can the menopausal transition itself. Symptoms such as hot flashes, sleep disturbances, anxiety, depression, difficulty concentrating, and a general feeling of a lack of well-being are common for women to experience. Luckily, there are options to treat these symptoms.

Our Hormone Wellness Program provides clients with a personalized treatment plan for using hormone replacement to manage complications of perimenopause and menopause in a safe and effective manner.

Going Beyond Managing Symptoms

The importance of hormone balance goes beyond managing symptoms. There is a growing body of clinical literature supporting hormone replacement for the prevention of chronic disease disproportionally affecting menopausal women as conditions such as osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, and neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's are shown to be connected to the drastic drop in major hormones like estrogen following menopause.

Our Hormone Wellness Program goes beyond managing menopausal symptoms by helping clients navigate the safe and effective long-term use of hormone replacement for disease prevention.

How the Program Works

In a series of 3 consultations, our consulting pharmacist will review troubling symptoms, submit, and interpret lab results, provide a personalized treatment recommendation, and reach out to your prescriber with our recommendation.

1st ConsultationDuring your first consultation, we’ll gather relevant medical information, discuss troubling symptoms, and submit lab testing.
2nd ConsultationDuring your second consultation, we present a summary of your symptoms, test results, and our interpretation of them. We’ll provide a treatment plan, and a note to your prescriber explaining our recommendation.
3rd ConsultationDuring your third consultation, we’ll discuss the conversation we had with your prescriber. If they agreed with our recommendation, your medication is prepared and your counseled on how to use the medication properly. We’ll also put a date on the calendar for a follow-up conversation and lab testing.
